Giant George...

…is officially the tallest dogon record at 1.09 meters (and 111 Kg weight )
Also , do they allow dogs to fly in passenger cabins in U.S ?

Dogs are permitted to fly in the passenger cabin of US flights, but they must be in a carrier and the carrier must be able to fit under the seat in front of you. I’m guessing George would have to ride in the pressurized cargo area.

The story I read said he lay across an a row of 3 seats, and everyone came forward to take piccies.

I’m guessing an exception was made since he was the world record holder and the Airline was probably looking for the publicity. But your normal traveler with their normal dog is subject to airline rules.
