Anybody else remember Giant Lock Blocks? Anybody else remember this ad with its earwig jingle? Can anybody fill in the blanks in the jingle for me?
Did anyone actually own some of these Lego knock offs? I remember feeling very sorry for any kid whose parents were so cheap as to buy a bucket of Lock Blocks instead of the real deal, but I never actually saw any so they might’ve actually been a good thing. Anybody?

I didn’t have the giant Lock Blocks bucket, but I did have the Lock Blocks space shuttle set.
I remember that jingle.
My amazing power to remember stupid toy comercial songs must be genetic as my 8 year old daughter and 3 year old son can do the whole Pillow Pet ad.

And I think that I had a neighbor with a younger brother who had giant Lock Blocks, but we were all Lego kids so I don’t believe I ever touched them.
As soon as I saw the thread title the earworm came roaring back from the dead. I don’t think Captain Kangaroo had any other sponsor during his final years on CBS, did he? Oh wait, maybe Small Stuff Space Shuttle.
It’s a spaceship, and a whole lot more! There is even room for cargo when you open the door…
