Girl Scouts Sue Deadbeat Cookie Buyers

Title says it all - don’t try to stiff 'em over those Thin Mints!

I thought the policy was to collect the money before turning over the cookies. That way if the buyer doesn’t come through they can always sell the cookies to someone else.

The article’s a bit vague, but it might be the Girl Scout offices suing individual troops or troop leaders who held sales, collected money, and passed out cookies but never passed the money along to headquarters. Because really, who buys $1,500 worth of cookies for themselves?
