PS - ignore the pregnancy thing; sorry about that…
Diane: An excellent book that helps explain the complex female balance of hormones is “Women’s Bodies, Women’s Wisdom” by Dr. Christiane Northrup. She is a longtime practicing OB/GYN, well versed in standard medical treatment as well as complementary methods. The book has useful sections on PMS, also on the hormone changes that come with age. I recommend it as an owner’s manual for the female body. Good luck!
Thanks each and every one of you! I appreciate the help and would probably cry if today was one of my bad days. Seriously
I am going to call my doctor this week and have him go over all of these options with me (he is great that way). It sounds like there are a lot of different things to consider with each option.
Thanks again!

I almost forgot.
Sue - I did ask a couple of close friends this week if they notice anything different with me during certain times of the month. The said that I get pretty quiet and I don’t smile or laugh like I usually do (I am usually like the Cheshire Cat).
Here all this time I thought I had everyone snowballed because I held back the tears or the screams. Go figure.

At the gyno’s when a woman takes off her panties she always folds them nicely & hides them the doc can see them. What irony eh?
