Gladiator

I just saw it and it was great if you take it for what it is…
i dont think it was supposed to be accurate or anything, its just a well made movie, with some flaws of course, like anything.

i recommend you go check it out!

Saw it yesterday. Great movie, but I found some of the action scenes too disjointed and erratic. Why is it that directors always go for those rapid takes and close-ups during fight scenes? Is it too much to ask for a solid, clear view of a decapitation or disembowelment?

I saw it last night. The whole love story subplot was stupid, but as a die hard Russell Crowe fan, and someone who hasn’t gotten over being the only person who LIKED Latin class, I liked it a lot. And Joquim (sp, me too.) Phoenix just looked so Roman.

Hey I liked Latin class too.

I wasn’t too interested in it till I heard it’s directed by Ridley Scott. That was the clincher for me. I saw it last night, and I thuroughly enjoyed it. The guy who played Cinqe (sp?) in Amistad was great. So were all the other gladiators. Jouquin Pheonix was wonderful. And the visuals of Rome were spectacular. There’s one arial shot of the whole city that was just amazing. I would recommend Gladiator to my friends.
