Firstly, let me say that this is a PRO-Jordan thread. I know there are lots of people out there who think he sucks. If you want to express that, go start yer own danged thread!

There. Now that that unpleasantness is out of the way, “Glimmers,” the prologue of Book 10 of the Wheel of Time (and only RJ could call a 120 page chunk a “prologue”) is available for download from amazon.com for $3.50. If you come across, shall we say, alternative methods of obtaining it, please don’t post them here.

I just finished reading it and I’m feeling the RJ geekdom coursing through my veins. I can’t wait for November.

Impressions after reading it: the stuff going on in the White and Black towers is the most interesting.
I got the feeling that I was supposed to know what was going on at the very end of the Davram Bashere section, but I didn’t. Anyone else understand and care to enlighten me?
The interview was interesting, if mostly uninformative. I was, of course, thrilled to hear that he’s planning to wrap the whole bloody thing up by book 12. Knock on wood.

Will the prologue be included in the book or is amazon.com the only place it will ever be available?

Yeah, illegal. I wasn’t aware there was a legit free method. That’s cool.
