We seem to have one game going at any given time on this board; roughly the same group of people also play on Idle and on the Giraffe boards, but I don’t really hang out at either place so I can’t tell you much about their schedules.
On the other hand, you might want to PM sachertorte and see if he has any use for a sub; he was talking about looking for one earlier.
I am really surprised to get killed, and I cannot figure out the reasoning.
I’ve been generating a ton of heat/distractions so far.
Even with Mahaloth’s investigation result (which is still not 100% confirmed), if they wanted to kill one of the investigatees, I would have thought Rysto would be the better choice, given #2.
Despite being right about Guiri and special ed, in general I’ve played pretty poorly.
I’d be quite interested to hear know why scum decided to off me.
sach, I like the set-up (based on what I know so far, anyway). I’m much better at evaluating people when I am not personally involved. I find I get much more accurate reads on people when I’m watching a game than playing, so the split cities made it easier for me to read 1/2 the players.
Of course, I sucked it up in my own city, but you can’t have everything
NAF continues to strike me as scummy. His “case” against me on Day One was based on nothing, his case on Day Two was literally Day One redux, and now he is voting for MHaye for admittedly metagame reasons that cannot possibly be defended against. Also, he posted a very waffley retreat right at the end of Day Two, which read to me like he knew I was going to turn up Town and wanted to distance himself. (I survived, of course, but he couldn’t have known that).
I’ve been going back and forth a bit between “lazy” and “scummy” on NAF, but now I’m falling squarely on the scummy side. Lynch him, people!
You were, and I definitely would have left you alive if not for the investigation. However, once you were investigated the Town would be idiotic to lynch you without trying for non-godfather scum in the unconfirmed pool first.
The reasoning here should now be self-evident.
You played a lot better than you realize. As I recall yesterDay you were on to both me and MentalGuy.
All is made clear - thanks for explaining. It’s true I was on you and MentalGuy earlier, but if I were alive, I definitely would have been on NAF first. I was having a tough time separating scum pressure/town pressure on me. Gotta work on that.
I had just investigated GuiriEnEspana and was trying to find a way to express their innocence without giving away my role. Next time I guess I should try to be less enthusiastic.
I had actually written up 2 or 3 posts on Rin Twisted in the first day but I could never get myself to click Submit. I’m still learning.
Please don’t! Enthusiastic players are very welcome
It was good play by town tough - if Drain Bead hadn’t got so much heat for the ‘travel-bias’ thing I might not have made the statement about travel plans.
I do feel town had the edge in the game but scum had a lot of bad luck. All three London scum getting noticed Day One. peeker going crazy (in a good way ) but yet-another-mason claim to save him which left a very short time let to a quick lynch of me. Then the sub and mod kill mobbed it up with an unkillable town (Cookies), unkillable investigator (Mahaloth) and Pleo/Idle/Plankton able to reinforce London (maybe more?).
It was a stupid thing for me to say, whether I’m scum or Town. I knew I was claiming in the next post anyway, but it still was a very weird way for me to say it. I meant he was my main suspicion aside from our successful scum kill.
