I remember a couple years ago, a very prominet newspaper printed a story on the front page about the polar ice caps melting for the first time in a century or some alarming news like that. But then a couple days later, they put in another article taht apologized and stated taht this happens every single summer; this article was found not on the front page…
Does anybody have any idea what I am talking about? I need it for a cite in school, any help would be very much appreciated.
The article goes on to say that although open water at the pole per se is not necessarily indicative of anything unusual, the amount of sea ice in the Arctic is indeed declining decade-by-decade.
