Is it true (I heard this on the radio) about global warming, that it’s not the highest temperatures of the day which are rising, it’s the lowest which are rising?

As for the OP, I believe it is seen as the lower temperate zones, i.e those furthest from the equator are experiencing higher temperatures. Though not a climatologist, I will say egyptions most likely enjoyed temeperate weather likened to San Diego, rather than the arid desert that presents there now.
