Glucosamine chondratin for cats.

My friend’s cat is about a decade old & moving a bit stiffly so she wants me to get some glucoasmine chondratin supplements, perhaps with omegas, for him- pills preferable. Right now, I’m finding it in the form of sprinkle capsules, powder, and liquid. But the pills are only in the starter formula, while he probably needs Level 2. Do you have any recommendations? Thanks.

We give cosequin to one of our cats for joint trouble. Don’t know how similar this is to glucosamine chondroitin. Cosequin contains Manganese, Glucosamine Hydrochlorin, and Sodium Chondroitin Sulfate. We give it to her a couple of times a week, sprinkled on her food. Since it is tuna flavored, it doesn’t go to waste. It has helped her with her mobility. Now if we could just get her to lose a couple of pounds…

See above. Same medicine, same reason, same fat cat.
