Go ahead, make my bed!

I was talking to a friend of mine today about building a new frame for my bed. She said she knew a guy who has a brand-new cordless drill that he wanted to get rid of and quoted a price. Well, I’ve never heard of this drill company so I asked if they were a big company. She claims they are the biggest company in the world, the one all professionals use. Now it’s a great debate in my world, what is the best drill to buy? Should I waste $100 on a drill from a company I’ve never heard of?

Well, what’s the name of the company?

Is it a Makita? If so, it’s a good drill.

I can’t remember the name of the drill she mentioned actually. Say a few names and maybe one will sound right

  • Dayum me for not writing it down at the time!*

Bosch
Dewalt
Hitachi
Makita
Milwaukee
Skil

I’m suspicious when I hear stuff like that ever since my dad assured me that Craig is a large and well-respected manufacturer of entertainment center components.

Then again, I never heard of this Kroger company until they bought the one I work for. Biggest grocery company in the country! Who woulda thought?

Find out the brand, and the voltage. You might do as well running down to Home Depot. I got a nice Makita 12 V for around $100 with two batteries and a charger. Of course, you might be able to cite HD’s prices and chew her down.

My apologies for not getting back to this sooner, I’m in the middle of a move and the movers have been here the last two days. Ok, it was a Skil but it doesn’t matter now, apparently the friend sold it. Thank you all for helping me out though, I appreciate it.
