I must hand it to the Tribe for blowing another oppurtunity to get in the series. The Indians somehow get the part of beating teams to death in the regular season, but when it comes tp post-season… fahgettuhboutit. Here’s an idea: Pummel the AL for 100+games, get into the play offs then give the whooping stick to the other team. Where the hell did Manny Ramirez go? I think his 3 brain cells stopped functioning after he calimed 165 RBI. Was the only Indian who wanted to play Roberto Alomar? My hat’s off to Pedro Martinez, he’s well worth the $12 mill a year. Maybe next year the Indians will go all the way. Problem is, I find myself saying that after each season comes to an end. Sigh… at least there are the Browns to cheer for now- oh wait, they can’t even beat the f’n Bengals.
Ugh, I need to stop watching sports…

I’m not an especially big sox or indians fan, but you gotta admit, those o’leary homeruns were pretty damn sweet. I mean, what are the odds? walking the best batter in the majors twice only to lose a net total of 7 rbi’s to the bitch? hehe

I suppose, though you’re probably well aware, that the “bitch” I was referring to was not the best hitter in the majors, namely Parra (sp?), as my poor sentence structure would suggest, but to the “bitch” who was brought up to bat as a result of the walk. sorry

Let’s see…Indians fan who gets to see his team in the playoffs quite a few times (especially in recent years) versus Cubs fans who are giddy when there is an 80 win season. I can understand the pain that comes with watching your team choke every year, but at least they have the chance to choke somewhere else besides spring training. Next year is when the Cubs go all the way, I swear.
