Or is this a fancy euphemism for stating that there has been another post added? (which is my guess)

It checks (by means of a cookie, [sub][sup]right, guys…?[/sup][/sub]), the difference between the time stamp of your last board refresh (this can be the loading of a thread, the switching to another forum, the submitting of a post…), and the time it is now. Anything in between is labeled as “This is new for Spyderman”.
