Came in to mention this. Defenders could chalk up accusations such as suggestive comments, to his age or subjective interpretation, or insensitivity or whatever. But videos of Nassar assaulting a student? There’s no excuse or defense for this. It shows he knew, and he did nothing. He’s an accessory and a co-conspirator. Give him the fullest penalty the law allows.

As far as the kind of person Larry Nassar was:
Nassar’s sexual abuse of young girls and women, and the subsequent cover-up, led to the USA Gymnastics sex abuse scandal that began in 2015, in which they alleged Nassar had repeatedly sexually assaulted at least 265 young women and girls[4] under the guise of medical treatment.[5][6] His victims included numerous Olympic and United States women’s national gymnastics team gymnasts.[7]
Nassar was sentenced to 60 years in federal prison on December 7, 2017, after pleading guilty to child pornography and tampering with evidence charges on July 11, 2017. On January 24, 2018, Nassar was sentenced to an additional 40 to 175 years in Michigan State prison, after pleading guilty in Ingham County to seven counts of sexual assault.[8][2] On February 5, 2018, he was sentenced to an additional 40 to 125 years in Michigan State prison after pleading guilty to an additional three counts of sexual assault in Eaton County
Oh good lord…Are you suggesting that the person that stabbed him wasn’t trying to murder him? So it was OK to stab him, but not to kill him?
Of course not. Stabbing someone is against the law, and we have no sympathy for people who break the law.
I’d like to offer a compromise. A serious beating, a few broken bones and a good poke in the eye? Could we agree on this as a hypothetical solution to make everyone (except Larry, because f*ck him)happy?
I wouldn’t stab him, but he does have the kind of face that makes you want to stab.
And apparently he was attacked after he made some crude comment about wanting to watch the girls playing in Wimbledon on the tv.
I mean, the thought that he said something too crude for prison…
No decently-run prison or society should facilitate or condone violence affecting even the most loathsome inmates.
Often when that happens, the perpetrator is trying for a measure of fame. We don’t want to help those slugs glorify themselves.
I think it was because of who he was. If a car thief or drug dealer had said it, it might have gotten a laugh.
