Goals

  1. Finish losing weight. I’m down 60 lbs in 09 and I’ve got 60 left to go out of an original 220.
  2. Run a half marathon, I figure it’s the minimum I need to be able to play an entire rugby match.
  3. Pass my P.E. test.
  4. Get my finances in order; pay off all debt, get rid of my condo and motorcycle.

Here’s what comes to mind immediately:

[li]Get another kids’ book published - something not in my existing series (well, realistically, I’d be happy getting it written and sold - it’s unlikely it could hit print in by the end of 2010 at this point).[/li][li]Continue my weight loss: I’m down 15 lbs in two months, and I’d like to drop another 15 my mid-February.[/li][li]Get my first novel finished and polished to the point where I can start submitting it.[/li][li]Get my home office/library cleaned up so it looks more like a home office/library and less like a storage room[/li][/ol]

Helping other people use the SDMB better is not junior modding, and it is appreciated!

Weight loss seems a common (and very healthy) theme in this thread.

Maybe we could all encourage each other and/or post our progress every 90 days or so.

  1. Make sure my wedding goes off without a hitch.
  2. Find a new job.
  3. Once I find/start new job, start working on the whole family thing ('ya know, getting pregnant, which’ll be a bit of a challenge with PCOS.)
  4. Take the wallpaper off the bathroom walls. God I hate it.
