God, Books, Crystal Meth, it's all the same

Remember that woman in Atlanta who talked her way out of a hostage situation with that courthouse gunman using only that Purpose-Driven Life book and her Faith in Our Heavenly Father[sup]TM[/sup]? Turns out she had a little help.

I’m not posting this to play “gotcha,” I just think this is funny. She gave lots of free publicity to Jesus and Rick Warren, but the meth is a rather significant omission if you ask me. Her dealer must have been offended.

I was going to post a joke about “God” being code for “meth” or something, but then I realized…

Damnit, Marley23 !! Link broooken!!

<Skips away doing the "lunatic fandango>

Ack. Why did that not work?

Anyway, here it is on another site.

Holy crap. Of all the drugs to give an armed hostage-taker.

Geez, some nice calming weed, or maybe some E.

The meth does explain how he might have been swayed by passages from The Purpose Driven Life, though. “Wow! That’s the most significant and insightful thing I’ve ever heard! Everything in my life has been totally arranged just so that I can demonstrate I’m a good person by doing whatever it was that you just suggested.”

I don’t think I’d take the chance, though.

Oh, and the most ironic part:

Some people never learn, do they?

This was my favorite part:

Gee, I’d have thought it might have been the stash of crystal meth that led her to the realization that she was a drug addict .

I guess God really does work in mysterious ways.

I wonder if God has to sign for Sudafed?

Yep. God wants you to commit suicide.

So basically you have to be a meth head or suicidal to **not ** see that Rick Warren is the new Jim Jones?

Wow. Now I really wonder what’s in the kool-aid.
