I agree 100 % . I am just disgusted . The most hateful group of fuckers I’ve ever seen and they believe God has thier back and they have a unity that would put the Navy seals to shame. At least every other herd of death and destruction causing nutbags on the planet doesn’t have the team work these fuckstains display.
This made me shudder in a way that the “God hates a fag” video was not able to muster due to the guy singing it and his pink shirt.
And just to set the record straight Jesus is my pal . I could never wish death or even my hate on missguided freaks . I just wish they would just shut the fuck up . The hate they spread so freely wholesale is beyond my understanding .
No, he isn’t. Have another look.
Yes, he is. Have another look jjimm. (I had “match case” enabled on my page search for some dumb reason).
My apologies.
[desperately trying to claw back some credibility] He wasn’t out then, though. [/dttcbsc]
I… Wow… It takes a lot to get me ‘speechless’ today, but the sheer joy with which they sing this…
I’m stunned beyond the capacity for facial expression.
I just hope FP drops dead of a rant-induced heart attack soon, so some of the young ones can get therapy and maybe have a shot at a normal life. Since FP doesn’t allow marriage out of the group I see some serious inbreeding coming up in a few years.
Yes, I know his daughter is running day-to-day operations and is set to take over, but maybe she won’t have the control he does.
We’re all entitled to dream. I feel so sorry for the kids in that group.
And as for the FP funeral; are we going to charter a rainbow-painted bus? I call a window seat! I’m not gay but I’m still allowed to celebrate! Hell, since I’m Pagan the old fart would probably burn me at the stake!
Serious question: If they hate America so damn much, why don’t they relocate? I realize it would be a process, but still.
Because they hate everyone. It’s not like there’s anywhere in the world that’s safe from God’s wrath. And like I said, they don’t hate America because of anything in particular America has done, they hate America to keep the cult isolated from other fag-hating but America-loving fundamentalist nutjobs.
I live in Topeka, which FP calls home. I’ll put up anyone who needs a place to stay when they come for FP’s funeral. I have a double bed, a couch, and a floor, and am willing to share(so long as you don’t mind two cats who may walk over you!)
I don’t know where my own church has been slipping. We used to get picketed by the WBC all the time, but I haven’t seen them in weeks.
Because, as the Louis Theroux program showed, they hate other countries even more. So if you can’t be in the one you hate, hate the one you’re in.
Sounds like someone’s church needs to have some hot college co ed orgies on the lawn. You know, just so you can keep your evil fag loving sinner status.
Hateful and psychotic, but at least it didn’t have that annoying incomprehensible Bob Dylan interlude in the middle or Bruce Springsteen’s annoying grandstanding. I’ll give it a 4.
So is this protected under laws of parody then?
Hmmm. Well, my position is somewhat flexible. Gotta be open to persuasion.
I’m usually in favor of live and let live, y’know? But damn I wish someone could prove that allowing children to be raised in this environment qualifies as abuse, and those poor little things could be taken outta there before their minds are that warped.
A lot of us were raised by people whose opinions we have…outgrown. To accuse someone of child abuse based on naught but their opinions…however repulsive…is a bridge too far.
Wow. Until I read this thread, and found out those are actual Phelpsies in the video, I thought that maybe it was a parody…
::shudders::
Yes, and I spotted some graphics ripped right out of Jib-Jab videos too.
According to our local free weekly, you do indeed! Actually, there was a cease and desist letter sent, they claimed they were going to ignore it by invoking freedom of religion, and as an added bonus, planning a picket of Warner/Chappell Music on June 2.

Intellectually, I understand this. But really, though many among us were raised by people whose opinions we’ve outgrown, how many of us were raised in such a way that escaping those opinions was just this side of impossible?
I’m not saying that we need to make an exception to the abuse laws in this case. I’m just saying that it’s sickening and heartbreaking that those poor kids have so much stacked against them and will, in all likelihood, never be able to break free of it.
