And every time the anniversary of 9/11 rolls around, we’re supposed to sit around feeling miserable the whole day, in a very long moment of silence.

Really? Holy shit, it must suck to live wherever you do where this is some kinda rule. Oddly, here in NYC, we don’t have any prescribed behavior that I’ve ever heard about. Yeah there’s always a memorial at some churches and so on, but most of us just keep doing what we do.

I just keep on keeping on as well, trying to disregard all the exhortations to “NEVER FORGET!”
