Define murder.
Thankfully, since this is the Pit, I can comfortably say that is the worst idea ever expressed on this message board.
And of course if President Bush had been caught looking solemn, even tired and depressed, people would be on his case for hiding his true feelings.
“Geez, what a clown!!! I bet deep inside he just wanted to dance for joy, pumping his fist.”
The man cannot win against some people.
I saw the pre-camera countdown. However, I saw no such smirk. But I guess you can see bunny rabbits in the clouds if you look hard enough for them, too.
Great idea, Split the fucking vote for a candidate who can’t hope to get any more than 10-15%, Skewing the liberal vote so you’re ensured having Bush get re-elected.
Smoooooooooooooth, Jerry.
Sam
I think an American President shouldn’t act like a thirteen-year-old when discussing his foreign policy.
What kind of a fucking punk looks for the absolute worst in people just to validate his own small-minded bigotry? What a worthless piece of shit that guy would be.
This guy sits behind a desk picks up a telephone, smiling, winking, orders a strike. People DIE. He doesn’t have to look in to the eyes of his victims. That man is a coward and a murderer.
FUCK YOU BUSH
So, you’re calling Abe Lincoln a murderer.
Wait, he didn’t have a telephone so that’s OK…
I’m only surprise that anyone would expect Bush to act in a thoughtful caring way.
It never bothered him when he was Governer of Texas to remain impassive to deaths. Why would he change for a bunch of Arabs?
My feelings exactly.
I didn’t see any smirk being eradicated during the pre-speech countdown either.
He doesn’t make a good appearance on camera, but I don’t micro-interpret every gesture, facial twitch and mannerism to arrive at my opinions of Administration policy. Substantive issues provide all the ammunition you could want.
And lest we forget, Clinton was not exactly the King of Gravitas, either.
Anyone who feels good about going to war shouldn’t be let anywhere near the controls. I don’t care what gestures or expressions the president makes, but anyone happy to be at war isn’t fit to lead a boy scout troup, much let alone the most powerful nation on earth.
He came on camera after we have already been at war for a while. And why should it be ‘one of the hardest things any leader has to do’ when they are leading the nation in doing the right thing? He damn well better be feeling good. This is not a time for panty-waste presidents.
Ah well, you’ll get over it, someday.
Has the level of discourse hit rock-bottom yet?
Yep, Inaguration Day, 2005, watching Random Democrat getting sworn in.
In Iraq, maybe. In the good ol’ US of A? Not a chance, skewed polls aside.
Or…Wanna bet?
Cythnia ‘I am a Queen and you will treat me as such’ McKinney?
Her?! For cryin fuckin out loud tell me you’re kidding? If a monarch isn’t what you want, she’s a poor choice.
The fact that Bush pumped his fist is the least of my concerns about the man.
I’m not even upest about it. It’s kind of expected. And this isn’t a, “What a dickhead he is” post. I’m only saying, I disagree with his whole handling of this matter and the fact that he’s pumped up about it only seems logical.
Well, considering that any CIVILIZED human being would consider war to be one of the most horrific things that humanity has come up with in our time on the planet…
I understand that sometimes people are not able to avoid going to war. That is tragic, but a GOOD leader would understand that going to war represents a failure on their part. This dick is fucking celebrating, and you are celebrating his unflinching determination to fucking kill people. Fuck you both. A lot.

Holy shit. I hope you wear a helmet when you watch CNN. I’d hate for you to end up with a concussion in a violent knee-jerking incident.
Did you actually see this happen? No? Then shut the fuck up.
