What’s so special about the moon that god would choose it to be the countdown timer?
And what’s it counting down to?

We can multiply years by minutes in song, you see the 144,000 is not a distance it’s a song. These numbers are frequencies, notes, and harmonies of a song and it correlates to the subject matter of that song. Perhaps you should have watched the rest of the video and you would have understood that.
What would God need with a countdown timer?
I’d be more interested in where the Bible states the length of the inch and of the mile. (The Roman inch and mile are not the same as the Imperial inch and mile.)
I also found it amusing that the video talks about a “prophetic year” of 360 days – in Jesus’ time, the year had been established as being 365.25 days, which is close enough to the true length for Roman government work. Is the universe that the Judeo-Christian God created so imperfect that the year is more than 5 days out?
I merely said it is a possibility, however God references the moon many times as for a sign in the last days.
What’s the frequency, Kenneth?
You stand corrected, in the book of Revelation the 3 1/2 years period is also called 1260 days. 1260/360= 3.5
So the author of the Book of Revelation – whoever he was – got the length of the year wrong. Perhaps he got some other things wrong too.
His name is John the revelator and you sir, have it wrong.
Well, I’ve lived for 69 years. If the year were 360 days long, I’d have lived for 70 years, and have seen one more of each of the seasons of the year – one more spring, summer, autumn and winter. Should I believe my own senses, or John of the Book of Revelations?
You should believe your creator God. His prophetic 360 day year was before John the revelator, it was established in the old testament. God used a leap month instead of a day every leap year. It is only useful for those who believe Him and for those like unto yourself who do not believe Him, the 360 day prophetic year is of no use. :smack:
I watched the video, and IMHO it is completely absurd. First of all, how can we determine from the Bible that Jesus was exactly 33 1/3 years old at the time of the crucifixion? And if it is true that the number of days of Jesus’ life multiplied by the number of minutes He was dead = 144,000, well, c’mon, listen to yourself.
If you want to believe that tuning A to 432 hertz instead of 440 is a more Christian way to sing, that is fine with me and your right as an American. But finding ways of multiplying 432 hertz to equal 144,000, and then relating that to the diameter of the Sun and the Moon to reveal God’s plan to measure a select set of celestial bodies and Biblical references as multiples of the length of Jesus’ life? That is trying too hard.
It is nice that you take comfort in your religion. But piling this layer of superstition onto it doesn’t prove that the Bible is true, if that is what you’re trying to say. The Bible isn’t supposed to be proven at all- if it could be, faith would be meaningless.
So, my advice? Focus on what binds you to your faith and what you get out of it, but let go of this numerology stuff because it is nonsense.
I love that God left these easter eggs in the final cut of the Universe.
I mean, they don’t make a lick of sense, but he’s an eccentric. And anyway his most obsessive fans seem to appreciate them.
Damn it!
And I was so clever…maybe too clever…
So god made rounding errors? Got it.
Ugh. Witnessing. Well, it’s allowed, so witness away!!
I guess you missed the part where 33 1/3 times 360 equaled 12,000 days and that is why 12,000 is the key measurement of heaven and why you won’t be going there unless you go through Christ. As far as your commentary on multiplying His age by the the minutes He was dead, I’ll just say you have no idea what the subject matter is of the song that the 144000 sing, to those who believe God it’s obvious.
Also 432 x 333.333333333… equals 144000 and by the way I’m not the first to acknowledge the relationship betwixt 432hz and the diameter of the sun and moon, google it, for there is a wealth of info on it.
My advice, turn to Christ and repent of your sins so you can go to Heaven.
Numbers don’t lie:smack:
No, you can’t multiply years by minutes in song, verse, prose, hex code, German or anywhere. It’s against the laws of mathematics.
Christ said “Love your brother as you love yourself”. Anything you pile on top of that only hides the Truth, and sets stumbling blocks before those who have yet to see the Light.
I’ve posted twelve other divine numbers, would you please comment on those.
He’s not witnessing, he’s figuring.
Right, 33 1/3 prophetic years is 12,000 days. Deriving the age of the Earth from the Bible I can follow, but how does the Bible give us such a precise measurement of Jesus’ lifespan?
