That would certainly explain a lot. 
But why then should we obey *‘God’s law’ * if he won’t obey ours??
Actually I haven’t read any of his stuff. I’ve only seen 2001, and I had no fucking clue what Kubrick was trying to get across with that one. 
I did hear that the book actually makes sense though, so perhaps I should pick that up.
