A coworker saw this going down the road when he went to lunch the other day and gave me the site. Almost makes me wish I was a biker!!
I love the idea of the commemerative patches for the friends and family.
That’s pretty cool. If I did that I’d add a clause that all the bikers would have to be blasting “Spirit in the Sky.”
Why A Duck, I missed the part about the patches - I was just taken with the photos!
Gorgon Heap, just to get everyone’s attention, huh?
Incidentally, I forgot to include the disclaimer that I’m not associated with this business at all and I did check with a Mod before posting, since it’s obviously an advertisement. Just in case someone was wondering.
Now there’s something I wouldn’t mind paying for. Thanks for the intersting link, I sent it out to some of the lists I’m on.
We are in the biker community and I know most of 'em would love the Last Ride!
That made me think about my adopted grandmother’s funeral procession this past December. Miss Vivian was 94 when she died and an absolutely wonderful person. I was lucky to have had the opportunity to know her. When she was 20 years old, she rode a motorcycle solo all over the east coast because she was told that that was something that a lady should not do. To quote her, “Hell, I never claimed to be a lady in the first place.”
Anyway, there were 20 bikers at her funeral and they led the funeral procession to the cemetary. I know she loved that sendoff. She woulda liked the Last Ride too.
What a great idea for a business. One could also have a horse-drawn hearse. And maybe a classic '30’s-40’s hearse.

I think the guy oughta franchise it - what a low overhead, part time business! Dunno if my husband could do it, tho - his bike is purple…
FCM sweetie, y’all oughta go for it! Heck, you could pull me in a purple bike. Course that’d be weird since I’m being creamated.
[sub]I know, shut up Swampy and go drink another beer[/sub]
Hmmmmm… Note to self: ransom large bird on motorcycle before shooting it and mounting it on your wall next time.
Note to self #2: Prize animals do not look good on the wall after being bludgeoned with a baseball bat to put them out of their misery. In the future, use big, hairy spider instead.
I’m a cyclist - I wonder if they could fix me up with something. [sub]There’s only a small hill up to the graveyard - honest.[/sub]
I had to pass this one on to a couple of bikers I work with. I’m sure they’d go for it!
