Going to court - what do we need to know?

Holeeeeeeee shit, and I thought I’ve had some bad landlords. Wow. Good luck to you and Mr. Pbbth in sticking it to the guy as much as legally possible. It will make your username come true.

Mmm, understood. Well, if Mr. pbbth doesn’t mind diving in, it sounds like a great idea to me! You two have certainly endured quite a bit. I hope in years to come you look back on it and are able to smile at the memory.

How much do you guys love your new place?

We love it more than kittens and rainbows. We love it more than chocolate covered snuggles. We have more love for our new place than anyone, anywhere has ever had for anything.

Just please keep in mind that this is the behavior of a person with little or nothing to lose. This is desperate behavior, and you can not predict the ends to which desperate people will go. Please be careful, and consider whether peace in your new home may not be more important.

I thought you said “chocolate covered snuggies”. And I got REALLY excited/terrified.

Really? :dubious: I’d call this more the behavior of a typical scumbag landlord who knows that most of his tenants have not the time, will, knowledge, or inclination to take his slimy lawbreaking ass to court.
