My Mother discovered she had a $20 bill that said gold certificate at the top. She wanted me to find out more about it.
I do not know the date on it. My Mother is elderly and had already reburied it in her cedar chest.:smack:
Here is some information. Depending on year and condition, they can be quite valuable. They seem to have been issued up until the late 1920s, as I have not found one listed after 1928.
