Goo Goo g'Joob! Take that Easter Bunny

Nothing quite like finding an egg the kids missed. Finding it in August. By stepping on it. You realize that dying the egg green might not have been the best plan.

A few years ago, Mrs. Nott’s relatives got together at the grand-niece’s rural home for a big Easter dinner. The house was on a big wooded hillside. I must have looked bored, so I was selected to hide the Easter eggs. Along with the real eggs, there were lots of plastic eggs with candy and Bible verses inside. I hid them too well for the kids to find. They said to hide 'em, didn’t they? Then I was sent out to help find them. I didn’t know I was supposed to remember where I hid 'em. Some of them never did turn up.

I was never given that task again.

somewhere out there is a plastic egg with a square of Bazooka and a piece of paper that says, “Jesus wept
