I would like to learn about the different periods of art (e.g. Fauvism, Pointillism, etc.). Can anyone recommend a good book for this purpose?
As an artist and teacher myself , I would very highly recommend the Shock of the New by Robert Hughes
and you might be able to catch some of thetv Serieson Youtube etc also well worth seeing.
