Good cheese and wine combos

(I hope this is the right forum for this!)

I am looking for good cheese and wine combos to call a whinny officer at work (“would you like some cheese with that whine?”).
We are both getting pretty elaborate with the insults and I need some help here!
“Whinnybutt” actually fits him perfectly, but already in use by a fellow dispatcher so I don’t want to snag it! Help me be creative!

Would you like some Brie with that Chateau-Neuf-du-Pape ?

I’m impressed! I’ll use that one tonight if he’s working LOL

Would you like some tomo with that Leapfrogsmilch.

Would you like some Velveeta with that Blue Nun?

Would you like some Cheez Whiz with that Night Train?

Oh man, I thought they had come out with a new flavor of Combos brand snack crackers. Rats.

Would you like some Velveeta with that Ripple? :D:D

Do they still make Ripple? How about MD 20/20?

Would you like some American Pasteurized Processed Cheesefood with that Mad Dog 20/20?

This link will give you fodder for weeks to come…

Okay, Coldfire, add my name to the “I love Coldfire” list. Any guy who knows how to match cheese and wine is way up on my list.

Since you stole my thunder, I’ll amend my entry accordingly:

  1. How about some camembert with that Cote-du-Rhone? -or-
  2. How about some roquefort with that tawny port?

Oh fine pugluvr. Ignore my exciting and daring selection in favor of Coldfire’s boring by the books one. :stuck_out_tongue:

Guys and gals, I’m trying to be sophisticated here! (This guy listens to classical music and can quote Shakespeare LOL)

Thanks Coldfire,JavaMaven1, and Pugluvr for the answers I can use, and also to everyone else for the laughs I could use,too

I think I shall get my sorry butt reading Shakespeare  too because he is always good for a nice insult. LOL

(printed up that website-thanks Java!!)

Okay, oldscratch, I’ll bite like a trout on Velveeta. What’s tomo?

Care for some Fumunda Cheese with that 40 of OE?

It’s a northern italian soft cheese. somewhat reminiscent of mozzarella mixed with cheddar mixed with petite basque. Nice and light and soft. Goes very well with slightly sweet white wines, like leapfrogsmilch, which is a 88% chenin blanc, 12% reisling blend.
