Good deal-a-day sites.

I have had Woot bookmarked for years, and have bought a few things, and almost bought many others(“I don’t need a Mark VII rechargeable electronic wonderdoodad, and technically there is no conceivable circumstance in which I would use one, but look at that price!”)
And like any cool thing hundreds of other deal-a-day sites have popped up. Anybody have any particular favorites that have good deals? I simply don’t have the time to spend 3 seconds looking at something frivolously, I need the places with the real hook ups.
Ah crap. it’s supposed to be Good not God. Stupid titles not being editable :smack:

I think mods can alter thread titles, if you beg nicely, but that particular typo makes the thread just scream to be opened.

Nope, no idea about your actual question, though. Sorry.

Thread titles ARE editable, you have to hit the edit button and then click “go advanced” in the editing window.

For what it’s worth, you just reminded me to go to Woot for the first time in forever and I bought the deal. I’ve been looking for a nicely priced pod maker for a while. Om nom nom.

Don’t forget http://1saleaday.com/ - actually 5 deals in one day in different categories.

They’re a little slow in shipping, but I have yet to be disappointed by the quality.

Well, there’s also I Have To Have That and Midnight Box, but Woot is still the best. There are many deal-of-the-day aggregators out there, too.

REI’s outlet (follow the tab from www.rei.com) has a deal of the day for camping outdoor gear that I am addicted to.

What area are you in? I signed up for groupon.com for the San Francisco area through a facebook ad and it looks like some good deals come through that and it looks like they are sprinkled across the US.

I frequently check the Top Deals at FatWallet.com

Giveawayoftheday.com lets you download free, licensced software that changes daily.

Retailmenot.com is great for online coupons/codes.

Slickdeals.net is also pretty good.

Fatwallet and Slickdeals have active forums with communities of people that scour the net and post their findings.

Tanga.com isn’t bad. They often have good board game deals, which is what I primarily watch for.

Deal of the day trackertracks all of the deal of the days.

Also note that Woot has a second (actually fourth, after Wine and Kids) site partnered with Yahoo.
