Oh, I blame old age too, but low blood sugar episodes DO kill off brain cells. Which is why it’s very, very important to have Emergency Sugar Supplies. My grandmother used to keep large chunks of chocolate around, but then she’d find an excuse to eat them. I find that glucose tablets are fairly edible, but are not so tasty that I’ll eat them.

Manu moons ago, when “phone numbers” meantg work and home, I started memorizing those of everyone I worked with, mostly cause I’m too lazy to keep looking them up.

In this day of faxes and cells, that mental trick has saved me lots of time, and it never ceases to amaze people.
