What’s a good online source for sheet music?
Good question! Count me in on this query, also.
I use sheetmusicdirect.us, but they are annoying in that you can only print items one time, you cannot save items, and they charge you again if you want to change the key. If there was a sheet music supplier that was less restrictive I’d switch in a heartbeat.
I’ve used Sheet Music Direct and been happy with them.
Depends what you’re after. If it’s pre-20th century, the collection of public domain stuff here is fantastic.
I don’t play music, but musicnotes.com looks to be a very interesting site where you can purchase and print immediate digital copies of licensed music. For hard copies, I would say sheetmusicplus- I have ordered from them before.
I just noticed that the prices are listed in pounds sterling. Do they take American credit cards? And what exchange rate do they offer?
If you’re looking for choral music, the Choral Public Domain Library has a very good selection.
They operate in various countries. Start out by selecting your location, and it all falls into place.
