Are there any decent science blogs that give overviews of current research?
I’ve got a few, already:
Lambda the Ultimate - intersection of abstract maths and programming languages.
Scot Aaranson - computational complexity.
Good Math, Bad Math - general mathematics, logic and computer science blog.
Tetrapod Zoology - dinosaur zoology and more.
Are there any other decent ones not on ScienceBlogs?
I like Phil’s astronomy here. Yay! astronomy. Does Alan Heavens still lurk? Professor Longair? Does Higgs still do his group theory class?
I found Skepchick from the Bad Astronomy Blog.
Found another decent one:
The Unapologetic Mathematician - mathematics in laymans terms.
Any more? Specifically outside of mathematics and computer science?

Althugh the OP asked for good science, let me recommend:

of interest to anyone interested in science.
Great guys, thanks, because what I really needed was more ways to avoid doing work.
