Best of luck to your dad, Coldfire. I’ll be thinking all the best thoughts to send your way.

Best wishes and sending good vibes.
Well, they’re picking him up in a few minutes. I just spoke to him on the phone, and he was in good spirits, not nervous at all.
Fingers crossed. The operation takes about 3.5 hours…
Our thoughts are with you both Coldie.
Best wishes for netherlandish nether regions. Hope it all goes well.
Best wishes to you and your father, Coldie. Good vibes from my family for a successful operation and a quick recovery.
Best wishes, good luck, healing vibes, all being beamed across the Atlantic. Sounds like Clogdad is a fighter. I hope everything goes smoothly.

I’ll be thinking of you and your family, Coldie. And hoping the cancer is completely removed, with no side effects.
All the best for your dad.
My very best to you and your dad, ** Coldfire**.
Good luck to ClogDad. Prognosis is very good for prostate.
I hope everything goes perfectly.
As someone who has been down a similar road with my own father, you can be sure every good vibe I’ve got is headed toward you and your dad

I am sending loads of good wishes and prayers over to ClogDad and you **Coldy **.
Thoughts and prayers heading out from here for ClogDad and the rest of the ClogClan.
Thanks guys!
I just got back from the hospital - normally a 70 minute drive, which turned into a 2 hour drive what with all the traffic and accidents. Gah.
Anyway, my father passed the operation with flying colours. He was enjoying his apparently rather powerful morphine buzz, slurred his speach a bit. Other than that, a bit of nausea from the anasthetic. Oh, and he’s not allowed to eat and drink anything for 36 hours, yikes! Luckily, the morphine makes him very sleepy so he’s not awake all that much. Oh, and just to give you an idea of the operation: he lost 2.5 liters of blood!
In a week, the test results will be known, and we’ll know for sure whether the cancer is gone for good. Then again, do you really EVER know? Ah well, we’ll settle for good news next week.
Again, thanks for all the good vibes - I’m sure they made a difference!
Glad your dad is doing well.
So far, so good ! Fingers crossed next week’s results are just as positive.
Coldymeboy, I’ve been thinking about you and your dad.
Been forced to lurk due to absence from own PC.
So glad to hear he’s doing well.
Big skanky love, Aunty Canty

Was great meeting you in San Diego.
Sorry I missed this but so pleased that everything went okay, Fingers crossed on the results front. Hope this is as much worrying as you all will ever need to do about this. Good luck ClogDad
Ah, glad to hear it went well.
