In the movie Goodfellas there is a scene in which the camera is panning over the bodies of two murdered people in a car. During this shot a song is playing which features piano and then electric guitar. It was probably some seventies rock song since that is the era represented in the scene. Does anyone know what song is being played?
“Layla”, by Derek and the Dominoes, featuring Eric Clapton on guitar. The part heard in the movie is a long instrumental break at the end of the song.

Unfortunately radio stations often cut this part off, which is why you might not be familliar with it as part of Layla. I know I’ve found a good classic rock station when they play the whole thing.
