sometimes the search results will include a site with not just a link but with its own tabbed set of minilinks, or even its own search bar included in the list of results.
what is this? is it something controlled by the website, vetted by Google or a paid service from Google? a quick search at its Business Solutions page turned up nothing.
Yes, Google decides on who gets this. It’s odd 'cause some of my sites have it others don’t. I’ve had some that have it then it goes aways. I’m sure someone has the algorithm figured out (for the most part). You might want to try looking around Search Engine Watch (dot) Com for other solutions.
ah i see, sitelinks. thanks. it also only appears for the first result right? for that reason i had assumed it was a “sanctioned or approved” site or something.
It appears to also be an automated thing on their end. The embedded search box just does the same thing as adding a site:blizzard.com parameter to a regular Google search. I couldn’t find any useful information about how they decide to put it up there, though.
