GOP Presidential Candidates: The Elimination Game (Round 1)

Since this is a game about the GOP 2016 nominee, may I interject a brief hijack, please?

A Karachi Auction on the 2016 GOP nominee will start soon in Thread Games. The goal will not be to determine the best or most amusing candidate, but to function as odds-makers and develop each candidate’s chance of winning the nomination.

Kasich
Christie
Huckabee
Pataki
Rubio
Graham
Santorum
Fiorina

Now, if you’ll excuse me, I need a shower…

And with 25 votes, the end tally now stands as such:

Walker - 4
**Kasich – 21 **

Jindal – 3
**Christie – 22 **

Perry – 12
Huckabee – 13

**Pataki – 17 **
Bush – 8

Rubio 25
Cruz – 0

Graham – 12
Paul – 13

Santorum – 20
Carson – 5

Fiorina – 19
Trump – 6

Thus the winners of this round are, in order of votes received:
Rubio
Christie
Kasich
Santorum
Fiorina
Pataki
Huckabee
Paul

That said, the Huckabee-Perry and Paul-Graham races went back and forth and could easily have swung the other way or ended in a tie had voting continued, and I will consider whether there’s a fair and reasonable way to include Perry and Graham in the next round (link to be posted once it’s ready).

No such consideration for Bush, Trump, Carson, Walker, Jindal or Cruz who were definitively crushed in their heats, most notably Ted Cruz who tickled no one’s fancy at all.
