I’m quite happy to say that I have lots of actual experience dealing with lions, tigers, and grizzly bears.
There is no chance of a lion defeating a tiger, and I state this with 100% confidence.
I do not wish to brag, but my degree in Veterinary Science, coupled with over twenty years employment at various zoos, allows me to do so.
Even more pertinent, perhaps, is the fact that I have acted as an animal trainer / handler / nutritionist / consultant on no less than seven Hollywood films. Five of these films were blockbusters, and contained many difficult and dangerous animal stunts.
Countless times I have seen a savage and feral tiger best a cowardly lion. My own post is my cite.
It angers me to no end when pro-lion advocates try to spread their vicious lies. I have banned these foolish “lion fans” from the gladiatorial arena I created. In these pits, the tiger always wins. No lion, gorilla, or dolphin stands a chance.

I posted all the times the tiger has won as well, just because the lion has won on 125 times in terms accounts documented by newspaper archives, books and videos and the tiger only 20, dosent mean its pro-lion; if you have more to add to the list I showed, then I’m all ears, whats funny to me is, the actual history of lions and tigers fighting, ‘The historical artifacts’ just so happens to be magnimiously close to the amount of accounts there is too…since I also brought in that link 95 historical artiafcts from different time eras ranging from A.D yimes through the 18th century from cultures such as the Romans, British, chinese, indians, japanese, germans, americans, amerinians and more all portraying the lion winning through preserved artifacts, while I know of only 9 that portrayed a tiger winning, so if we take that into consideration then it shows that:
125 +95=230 historical means of lions winning through out history on hand.
20 + 9=29 historical means of showing the tiger won 1/8th the amount of times they fought.
If you have more I’d love to see them. But we both know you dont.
That makes alot of sense; since in that same link on page 4, I provided over 40 experts such as biologist, animal trainers, archaeologist, owners, tamers and zoologist all who gave there opinion that the lion would usually win from people like clyde beatty, who unlike your vet status (which you’re probably lying anyway) had 40 years of experince and bases his opinion upon observation of seeing them fight, reporting (him alone) had a death toll of over 30 tigers killed through out his career by his lions when they clashed…hmmm how can there be such a consistancy from experts opinions who’ve worked with both to matching what the historical artifacts, to even greater the actual accounts all be similar not only in substance but by number percent and ratio…could it be coincidence they all show a significant amount all favouring the lion?

Your foolish defense of the lion over tiger is irreconcilable. Tiger always wins, and I am a great veterinarian with several Hollywood films to my credit. Perhaps you have seen “Bonobo!” which is one of the films I am most proud of. Many weak and cowardly lions perished during filming.
More than a few facts point to tiger superiority. A tiger can run up to 60 kilometers per hour when fueled by fatty lion meat. Tigers have no manes, so they do not have to bother with grooming. A tiger has camouflage and may lurk in the bamboo unannounced, while a lion in a jungle stands out like a potato chip at a baby shower.
You ridiculously mention the Romans in your previous post. If you knew anything at all about tiger-lion combat you would be familiar with Cicero’s famous dictum:

A while back from our previous encounter, I’d say almost double what I had; and I didn’t even get a new computer yet…lol. But no worrys, man we’ll get there. I patented alot of things myself upon learning more about tigers and lions too an the more I learn about the tiger the less impressive his feats and fighting capabilitys are turning out to show…of course that wont stop me from appreciating what a wonderful majestic animal the tiger is, he’s still a magnificent animal.
Man, its amazing that you’re from India too, what I’d give to look through probably the most highest of creditable substance (Indian past historical records)…since India to me has the most important catagorie of wild encounters…if people are still using quotas from B.C times, I’m sure I can find a whole lot of info of atleast the 16th-18th century records on lions and tigers of india.
I mean I found around 11 wild records so far, and they were in german and english languages, I’m sure hundreds, thousands no; tens of thousands of records of books and artifacts must be floating around and just waiting to be re-discovered in india that shows lion and tiger conflicts. I mean to think if the invention of guns was switched with the timeline of the invention of video cameras, we’d be poluted with creditable answers…but aww well, I’m sure more will be found soon and add to the list.

What is this a race, this isnt a track and field olympic running competition, this is a fight, funny there are videos of lions cathing cheetahs, the fastest land animal alive, something that can run nearly twice as fast as the tiger, that doesnt mean the lion is faster than a cheetah, it just means he can move relatively fast as well in comparison to a tiger, after all he will need to chase the tiger since almost all the accounts substance shows the tiger fleeing the scene when the fight is pro-longed.
You should got to that site too and check out page 2 to see how badly the tiger stacks up statistically on fighting attributes, the tiger sadly is going up aginst the most durable cat to have ever lived compliments to that anatomy (the mane) which you pointed out is a grooming factor, or what ever that is suppose to mean, that anatomy is probably the sole reason why the lion will win out more times than vice versa, 40 abstracts, books, accounts, videos, gifs, anecdotes, natrualist and zoology studys confirms this; the lion if up and up with any cat that ever lived at parity from jaguars, leopards, leo atrox, to the saber tooth cat; the lion (the only cat to have a mane) that can sometimes cover 50% of his entire body with a amor like coating of very thick and dense hair, will have the highest endurance/durability factor out of any existant or extinct cat to have walked the earth.
Yeah, camoflauge that already failed on leopards, crocs; water buffalo; guar, asiatic black bears, and more all have there own share of returning the favour and killing the tiger on some documented cases.
The lion stands out? So, thats what he is accustomed too, he is a supreme up and up fighter, funny you call something that has to ambush brave and something that prefers a open challange a coward, must have served you well since your exposing yourself as the coward, since a coward falls in line in exactly what you’re persistant in doing which is, lying about your occupation, being deceptive about the data, making up delusions and being a bias fanatic who cant even back the one you chose properly, that in terms shows you dont care for the tigers well being, only to perpetuate that you wanna be right, since you are in the negative intergers and now must dig yourself out, we both know that aint happening anytime soon and more so shows you’d say anything to reply now in that fashion to lie over the tigers name, who needs none of any sort to tarnish his name; an is in fact degrading his demeanor.
