well, drugs.
IMO they ALL otter be legal and if people need help with them, it’s a medical issues. really: making drugs illegal is just stupid.
I am currently cranked up on WINE: something that is completely legal everywhere, and yet if I was stupid enough to drive under the influence I could certainly kill people, by accident.
it’s just DUMB to make some drugs legal, and some a crime. DUMB. :mad:

Meh, I’ve carried on using the laptop since I posted this thread and am in fact posting from it now!
I have nothing illegal to hide anyway. Embarassing stuff sure, but nothing illegal now that I am no longer buying illicit substances, as much as I want to, and since I posted this the performance has been pretty normal so I’m almost certain there’s nothing surreptitious installed on it.
Come Monday, time to get my passport and phone back!

Just a side note - I have worked in many law firms and for many attorneys. It is common practice to ALWAYS bill in minimum time amounts of 6 minutes, no matter if it only takes 2 seconds.
Your best approach in the future to save money is save all of your questions for one longer email that might actually take the full six minutes to read and six minutes to respond. Otherwise, the six minute rule is pretty much set in stone.
Oh, and don’t ever let a law firm make photocopies for you! They charge a fortune for that. Make your own copies. Also do your own faxing. Just sayin’…
