I don’t have the time to do it, but was thinking about all the polls we have had since the poll feature started here. We on the SDMB are a pollster’s dream and it would be interesting to see the results of all (or most relevant) polls.
I would imagine someone with time could go through the results of polls and come up with a fairly decent snapshot of the “average” Doper by now. I have one poll on sleeping in the nude running now, but there have been great polls on use of marijuana and feelings about legality of it, polls on gun control, polls on sexuality, polls on political opinions, favorite movie, candy, soft drinks, beer, etc.
If not a few dedicated people doing this, perhaps another idea would be to have a thread with nothing but results of polls (no comments added). Not only of casual interest, but might be good to use to answer “cite?” when saying, “Most people here on the board agree/disagree about…”
