What a stupid fuck.
Ironic that a supposed libertarian like you is not only anti-democracy (since you’re obviously upset at the near certainty that the next WI governor will be a Democrat) but thinks it’s a good idea to limit political spending by freely formed groups of associates–since it’s been cited numerous times in this thread that public unions do not mandate political contributions from their members.
Reality is what it is. Pretending it’s a vast conspiracy against your worldview and/or pretending all your opponents cheat with no evidence to show for it makes you out to be a loon, and I’m sorry you’re even nominally on my side on some issues.
Because it costs me less money in the long term and cracks a monopoly that’s propped up by the various states.
I’m as much a libertarian as you, who wants to prevent people from freely associating and spending their own money on political action.
If I seem anti-democracy it’s because I don’t live in a democracy. And pretending that all opponents cheat and use that fallacy as an excuse to cheat is a tactic your side uses.
And if you’d just read a little further, you’d have seen this:
Yeah, that’s pretty funny. You’re entitled to your own opinions. You are not entitled to your own facts.
Well thanx for allowing that!
Whatever, jackass. Bitch about misusing a word that you don’t even know the definition of. A fucking typical.
The problem sluggo, is that you’ve never learned how to think. When we post stuff that we’ve thought about and it comports with factual reality, you think we’re cheating. No, we’re not, it’s just that you’re not ready to compete.
It’s sad really.
Because I reject your ideology I’ve never learned to think… How elitist of you.
Ideology has nothing to do with it. Your ability to debate sucks, you don’t present supporting citations, you just post bare assertions and ridicule cites you don’t like instead of refuting them.
It just pisses you off that I won’t play your game.
Did something happen? Is the sky falling again? I was just outside a minute ago and could have sworn the sky was still in place. ![]()
superslug’s very existence is against the public interest.
(say hi to Gordon69 bot for me!)
Uh, yeah. My “game”. The one where we present facts and evidence to support our beliefs, instead of just ranting.
Letting a pitcher return to the mound in a baseball game in which somebody else has taken his turn at bat is against the public interest.
Eliminating the 64-ounce carton of ice cream from the supermarkets of the nation is against the public interest.
“Hi, Opal” is against the pub—wait a minute, that one’s okay.

“Rio” by Duran Duran is against the public interest
Like that?
Glass/Steaga repeall. Unemployment at about 20 percent. Two wars simultaneously. Repub busting unions. The largest maldistribution of wealth since the Gilded Age. The rich screaming for more tax breaks as the top 1percent take half the wealth . The bankers destroyed the worlds economy and not one went to jail. They enriched themselves at the expense of the working people. And some think they are special people who can be trusted.
Go outside. take another look. It is time to turn against the thieves that are looting the country of its future. There is an ugly cast on the clouds.
No Sluggo .it is not the unions.
I find this assertion particularly interesting. You seem to characterize “wealth” as some sort of commodity that can be harvested or mined, as if it somehow gets gathered up by the chosen few and squirreled away by them at your expense.
As to the public interest, I believe defining the term itself so the majority of people would agree is literally impossible. Disparate interests are the basis for political disagreements in the first place.
Private interests - now there’s a topic of discussion I could get behind!
To expound on the last post…
It is a common liberal fallacy to claim that their is a physical limit to a nation’s wealth; that the rich are hording it and keeping it from the po folk. There is a common phrase among conservatives that is utterly foreign to liberals:
Wealth Creation
Instead of bitching about all those rich bastards having too many cookies…
MAKE YOUR OWN FUCKING COOKIES!
And I’ll tell you… wealth creation has nothing to do with using a public employee union as a prybar to extract more and more money from the taxpayer.
That, in my humble opinion, goes against the public interest.
Because the free market doesn’t apply to government, and taxpayers are entitled to the labor of public employees.
