Nangleator, I think you might be confusing the “Charlie X” episode with the “The Squire of Gothos” episode.
Charlie X didn’t have non-corporeal parents, except in the sense that they were dead.
Yeah, the man and woman were the Squire’s parents. I was blending episodes there.
But Charlie had some living, untouchable folks that came for him at the end. Or maybe just one. Remember Charlie faded out saying, “I can’t even touch them”?
