I am a graduate school admissions councilor, specifically in my university’s school of performing arts. We have programs in film, dance, theatre, dramatic writing, cinema studies, stage design and many more things of that ilk.
Our application is about to go up and the calls are pouring in. “What do I need for my portfolio?” “Who should write my recommendation letters?” “How do I get in?” “Does my failing math grade freshman year of college REALLY matter?” “How do I get in?” “How does an international student get into an American university?” “How do I get in?”
I have all the answers. Well, mostly.
