Dame Judi Densch. Chronicles of Riddick.
It’s “Dench.” And don’t you badmouth my dad’s former girlfriend!
Hey, back off man! I love that movie. It was my first exposure to David Niven, and he’s hilarious in it. Yes, it’s silly and sexist and hopelessly square, but I still watched it every time it came on TV, much like another silly and sexist and hopelessly square movie I love: Seven Brides for Seven Brothers.
Oh lord, I just found out that the entire movie is on YouTube! I don’t know if I can handle 10-min. increments, but I haven’t seen it for decades.
I think The Impossible Years and the others with David Niven are considered ‘bad’ compared to his earlier efforts in the 30’s and 40’s, which is why I mentioned them. But I am not knocking them! There’s nothing wrong with a nice dated sex farce, if only from a sociological standpoint - and the clothes!
OK…now that I’ve seen a trailer for Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson as the Tooth Fairy, I think he wins the prize for whoring himself out.
Don’t get me wrong, I like the guy but does he ever turn down a script? (Apparently not! Have you seen Doom?)
How many times can he recite his “Ahh…come on!” line when something happens he doesn’t expect?
Don’t be an enabler. That only contributes to the problem.

Hold on! I think I just hit the jackpot: How about James Earl Jones in “Best of the Best?”
The movie is karate glurge barfiness, and I love it, but JEJ really did himself dirt being in this one.

Please re-read the first two words of the thread title.
Klaus Kinski and most of his movies.
Came for DeNiro, left satisfied.
God, that man will do any shit film for a paycheck. It’s sad.
Nurse Ratchet right? As I’ve always heard it, she was so great in that role and so vicious and evil that she got typed cast and couldn’t get offered roles that weren’t Nurse Ratchet… and there weren’t that many of those roles.
Do you seriously think Eugene Levy’s getting a lot of calls to audition for the same roles as Brad Pitt, Anthony Hopkins, or Kevin Spacey? I’d say Levy’s taking what he can get because when you look like that and don’t have a lot of range as an actor your job is to get the work that pays.
Louise Fletcher also played the evil grandmother in the film version of “Flowers In The Attic”. Don’t remember if it was a cinematic film or a tv movie.
