My parents went on holiday not long ago, leaving my two younger brothers living in the house. Youngest brother had a TV in his room with crap reception off a rabbitear antenna, while the main TV on the other side of the house had a roof aerial and perfect reception.
So youngest bro decides to run his own wiring above the ceiling across the house. Middle bro answers the phone and yells to youngest that he has a phone call. Little bro starts to go to the roof access on the other end of the house… and puts his foot through the ceiling!
Being university students, they did what comes naturally - nothing. When I came over the day before my parents get back, I also do they logical thing. I printed out a picture of ‘ceiling cat is watching you masturbate’ and taped it to cover the hole…
Both TVs now have bad reception, and there is a 2x2 square of flat surface in an otherwise textured ceiling.
Reminds me of the time that we were staying at a hostel in the canadian rockies. Little bro had a toy coyote whose tail fell off. Luckily a surgeon who was staying there happened to have some sewing gear and did a neat job of sewing it back on - upside down. this was somewhat amusing.
