Saw the National Geographic special last year, where they poked a camera through the ‘door’ at the end of the shaft. But since then havn’t heard anything about it. Has there been any further exploration and is there a website that updates on any progress?
at http://www.nationalgeographic.com/pyramids/ it has some generic information about the tunnels and a small artical on the show aired in 2002. Apparently in Sept of 2002, they explored the ‘north’ tunnel with identical results. http://news.nationalgeographic.com/news/2002/09/0923_020923_egypt.html

Robert Bauval is claiming that he has “reliable sources” that a live show will be done next month. But nobody else seems to have heard anything. Whenever any plans are announced, I’d expect the news to be carried on the National Geographic site (which you already know about) and on the homepage of Zahi Hawass. Neither has said anything yet.
