I agree on a 3. The singer has potential but needs to hit all the notes, not just most of them. The solo has some odd note choices in there.

Not horrible but not amazing.

Reason being that Surbey is probably in the band he’s promoting.

Anyway, it’s not my type of music, but I think they need to work more on their chops and maybe less on their self-promotion (“unleashes a god-like wrath?”). Agreed about the vocals.

nah, I’m not in the band. I’ve seem them perform several times around the area and I think they are descent and I thought I would share with you all.

I don’t wanna look like a spamer either. My father told me that this is how it may have come off. Well, let me tell ya, thats not what I mean.

PS, they keep changing their songs on their so I never really know just what song they will have up. The song they had up when I posted the first time was pretty cool. you could hear some girl yell something duragative in the backround at the end

Sorry Surbey, gotta count me in the not bad, but not good category.

In order to stand out you have to be (IMHO):

  1. Musically very good e.g. Beatles, Pink Floyd, Alice Cooper :slight_smile:

Or

  1. Orignal e.g. Alice Cooper, Kiss,

or a combo of both e.g. Pearl Jam, U2.

I just don’t think they stand out.

Remind me sometime and I’ll get out my old Alice Cooper or old Queen or Black Sabbath and let the old man show you what REAL music is.

Considering they’re in high school I think it’s pretty good. :slight_smile: I bet if they keep sticking with it they’ll be great in a few years.
