Among the old Marvels, it’s Captain America
Among the Hannah Barbera animals, it’s Yogi
It’s gotta be Deputy Dawg, there boy.
Spaaaaaace Ghost!
And how could I possibly forget the cartoon theme song that best exemplified the 80’s in all its glorious excess: Beverly Hills Teens.
I’ve had this CD since it was released, and I still like it when something from it pops up on the iPod.
I don’t care for Open Up Your Heart And Let The Sun Shine In, though I liked Frente! I like Happy, Happy, Joy, Joy, but it’s anachronistic. It’s hard to pick a favourite from the rest, as they’re all good and it depends on my mood.
Three pages and no Mighty Heroes? I do despair…
Hong Kong Phooey and George of the Jungle.
I always found the music to Paranoia Agent hauntingly beautiful.
While not strictly a cartoon (it was a live-action/cartoon hybrid) The Banana Splits theme was awesome.
Tra-la-la
Tra-la-la-la…
Enjoy the earworm.
You bastard!
I go back and forth on the Looney Toons theme and the Merrie Melodies theme. Listening now, I think I prefer the latter.
Rocky and Bullwinkle.
From Animated Movies, I gotta nominate The Incredibles, which was a slice of the good stuff.
One of my favorite soundtracks!
I vote for the theme song from Tom Terrific. This has been a persistent earworm of mine for more than fifty years.
With Manfred, the Wonder Dog!
