I don’t know, man…I mean the Dude’s rug got peed on by the Chinaman. Wouldn’t it be the 2nd and therefore Maude’s rug? Unless, you’re talking about the original rug, because, yeah, it did tie the room together. Some other good ones from this movie, imho, would be the toe, little Larry’s homework, the Autobahn record, and Jackie Trehorn’s sketch pad.
How about the puzzle box from “Hellraiser?”
Steve McQueens 68 Mustang from “Bullitt”.
Speaking of Wheelchairs:
A Dalek.
Davros’ chair.
… or just the blue police call box.
Or, you know what would really tie a room together? A center console from the TARDIS. Preferably with a raising and lowering bit.
I’d prefer the Orgasmatron, especially if fully functional.
The Ghostbusters Proton Packs are impressive, but I’d be kind of partial to Egon’s scanner – the one with the little wings that raise when it detects something. I think that’d be an excellent shell to put a PDA in.
The Shark from Jaws.
The Zorg ZF-1
Or maybe The Excessive Machine from* Barbarella*. But only if Jane herself does not qualify as a prop.
You may find this trivia quiz interesting - given a description of the prop, name the movie:

The Bluesmobile!
If not one of the actual cars, I’ll take the 4-foot replica used in the “back-flip” scene.
Great choice, but I might prefer one of the bowling balls. Or Walter’s crowbar.
I once thought a great high-end collection would be a bunch of swords that have played the part of Excalibur in various films and TV shows. Individually, none of them would be that impressive, but as a group they’d be very cool.
For cheesy B-movie greatness, I nominate The Tingler.
