Greek themed party - how much gyro meat?

I think of hummus as Middle Eastern food, but I also think of most Middle Eastern food as being Mediterranean food as well. It’s all good.

I never did gyros but I’d occasionally do a hamburger cookout for a crowd. A decent ballpark figure is to have a pound of meat for every four people. Maybe go a little high because having leftovers is better than running short.

I couldn’t say how common it is, but I’ve heard people refer to it as (or at least imply it is) Greek many times.

I’m actually a firm believer in taking whatever the hell you like and putting it all together on a plate, so I have no real objection to what you do with your hummus, I just thought it might be of interest.

So… how many people now want hummus?
