I think it has been long enough that I don’t mind spoiling other people’s fun.
I am really looking forward to this movie. It’s a good sign that they created such a fun clever trailer to kick things off with. The fact that they gave an outsider free reign to write the script really fills me with hope. Jason Segel seems like a fun guy who will respect the source material, but come at it from a new perspective. Added to that when you look at the cast list, much like the original muppet movie, the cast is filled with cameos of funny people. From Ed Helms to Emily Blunt, I think they are going to make for some awesome scenes. Replacement voices have been used for long enough that I don’t think I will be as fazed by a muppet sounding “off” as I was 15 years ago or so when the change first happened.
Really looking forward to November.

Equipoise, if any other proof was needed that your heart is not a human one, but some sort of stone that is empty of all fun and life yet still pumps blood I think your spoiler report fills it.

People, they’re puppets. Really annoying puppets. To me. To me, the main (only?) female puppet is a fat, stupid, shrill of a bitch. I have absolutely no problems with people who like them, and would not call any of you names or judge your character.
I don’t care what anyone thinks of me, really, but I would like to clarify that I have nothing but the highest respect and regard for JIM HENSON. From everything I’ve heard, he was a wonderful, gentle, kind man who only wanted to make people happy. He died far too young and even I was shocked when I heard about his unexpected death.
I think if you come into a thread to let everyone know that you hate the topic at hand you might want to expect some gentle ribbing. Especially, when the topic is a lighthearted one. I thought my insult was so over the top that it would be clearly seen as a joke, but I guess I went too far, or not far enough. I am not sure which. Just to be clear - I don’t have any evidence from the past that you have a heart of stone, nor do I really think that your opinion of the Muppets means you have a non-human heart.
But, thanks for letting me know that they are puppets. I wasn’t sure.
I think plenty of folks are going to miss out on this trailer, at least online. I watched it and quit it 40 seconds in, just before the reveal. The average youtube viewer will kill it even sooner.
