Greeting Card Recycling

Much to my dismay St. Jude’s Ranch for children no longer accepts greeting cards for their recycled card program. The kids would remake the cards and sell them and get a little money for each card for their college savings, pocket money and group outings.

Does anyone know of any other organization that accepts greeting cards to be remade into new cards?

It doesn’t matter to me if it is a children’s or adult program. I recall vaguely that a group home for developmentally delayed adults was doing it as well, but can’t seem to find it or any other alternate program.

Thanks!

St. Jude’s Ranch for children has received over 1,000,000 Packages of used greeting cards. As a result they have more cards than they can use in the forseeable future. The cards are a burden taking up resources sorely needed for other actuvutues.

My suggestion would be to call local child care organizations/facilities to see if they can use them.
